STAR Getting Hitched
It was an awesome trip back home end of last month for many reasons. I’ve managed to touch base with Friends of STAR (all this while it was only through phone calls, emails and facebook chats), clear things out with an old friend, meeting family members for a Raya gathering (after 7 years of hiatus) and the most important of all my project giving back to our beloved STAR is a step to reality.
STAR soon will have a partner school in England, not your ordinary day school but an Eton Group school.
Like a marriage, this partnership should benefit both parties, and it should last (if possible) a life time.
We have formalized a program, which uses the schools as the entity. It will not only benefit the students, but also the teachers, the masters and the administrators. Who knows, the old boys will also be connected in the near future.
I’ve promised STAR that they will be model school of what International Partnership Program should be, and they will also set the precedent of this program among the (high performance) schools in Malaysia.
However, I will need your support to make sure this program a success.
