Friends Of STAR

Just to be resourceful, I too had just read the website staroba.org and I must thank you the writer for giving an opinion. As the comment earlier mentioned I would like to reemphasise that I strongly believe in FOS efforts and they I presumed not pembohong. In any case the claim by Staroba.org, let's hope it is also true and we will not get RM 1.1m but RM2.2M instead. Bravo STAR!

Just to be resourceful, I've just read the website staroba.my owned by a group of STAROBA calling themselves as "Friends of STAR" (FOS).  Under an article entitled "Update on the RM490,000 Grant" dated 5th November 2010, FOS claimed that:

1.  they are the ones "..who initially asked for RM1.1 million from MOE". 
2.  they've already received warrant of RM190,000 which was already released to STAR two weeks ago (part of it has already been spent on roof repairs) 
3. another RM300,000 warrant will be released to STAR on "Hari Kokurikulum" 11th November 2010 
4.  the balance of RM610,000 will be forthcoming by the end of the year

Hmm..a very interesting scenario indeed. Whilst STAROBA is trying to build a cordial relationship with the Pengarah SBP, FOS has already been releasing warrants of funds from MOE to STAR. Its just like a 4x100 meters race where STAROBA has just got started whilst FOS has already been passing their "baton" and reaching the finishing line. In any case, whatever the outcome, STAR would reap benefits from both efforts!

Alhamdulillah..FOS also deserved a very good appreciation for their excellent job done for STAR!

Nevertheless, my inquisitive mind probes such questions as which entity or group does MOE recognizes? STAROBA or FOS or both? If both, it should be more on complementary basis.. Hmm...
