Friends Of STAR

Fourteen schools were today named as High-Performance Schools (HPS) by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. This brings the the total number of HPS nationwide to 66.

The schools named today are Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Perempuan Sultan Ibrahim, SK Infant Jesus, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Foon Yew 2, Sekolah Menengah Sains (SMS) Kota Tinggi and SMS Johor (all in Johor); SK Ibrahim, Sungai Petani, SJKC Keat Hwa (H) Alor Setar and SMS Sultan Mohamad Jiwa, Sungai Petani (Kedah).

The rest are SK Sultan Sulaiman 1, Kuala Terengganu and SK Tengku Mahmud, Besut (Terengganu); SK Assunta Convent, Kuantan in Pahang; SK Minden Heights and SJKC Kwang Hwa in Penang and SMS Tuanku Jaafar in Kuala Pilah Negeri Sembilan.
