Solar flare to paralyze earth in 2013

Scientists revealed that a massive solar flare could paralyze Earth in 2013, causing blackouts and wreck satellite communications. It could mirror the Great Solar Flare of 1859. The announcement was made public during a conference by Dr Liam Fox, the Defense Secretary of England.
This would be a once-in-a-century disaster that could cause global chaos, power grid crash, the internet would be down, the transportation systems would be affected and planes would not fly for a period longer than the volcano ash earlier this year.
According to various reports from NASA, a peak in the sun's magnetic energy cycle and the sun spots could generate huge radiation levels in 2013. It could cause a geomagnetic storm on Earth that would paralyze our planet for days or months, if we're not prepared for this kind of catastrophes. Our modern lives depend on technology and this means we're very vulnerable to events that might occur in the technological sector.
The Sun has an 11-year cycle of high and low periods of solar activity and according to scientists, there could be a massive solar flare in 2013. It seems that the rings of fire have the power of 100 hydrogen bombs.
