Friends Of STAR

Late Saturday afternoon saw the magnificent STAR U16 steam-rolled the Sri Lankan Rugby Academic U16 team by 51-8 to qualify for quarter final this Sunday. Friends of STAR have something on the card soon to create greater exposure of the STAR Rugby Union to International event during our dialog at Showru. STAR lost its first game to SDAR and tomorrow will decide whether it will play in Cup or Plate.

Heavy rain at Showru today - hopefully heavier rain at STAR game tomorrow since STAR is expected to play better under heavy rain. STAR was actually represented by Form Two students and not the full U16 team - Form Three students will be sitting for their exam soon.
