Annuar Musa suspended for 30 months
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) disciplinary committee has slapped its deputy president Tan Sri Annuar Musa with a 30-month suspension from state or national level football activities.
Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the suspension, effective Wednesday, would also mean he would also be barred from taking part in any football activities in Kelantan where he is the President.
Taufik said the committee which met today found Annuar's negative statement against the national football team on Feb 12 had breached the status of FAM's Article 88 (2010-2014).
FAM's Article 88 states that only the president and the secretary-general can comment on the national team's performance.

I used to be a great fan of Selangor football during the age of Mokhtar Dahari ..... when a black kettle was still called a black kettle. Spent a lot of money travelling to Singapore whenever Selangor played Singapore, their arch-rival. Guess, the money was well-spent. Maybe the football then was much better than now and maybe the FAM then was much better than now.
I have a suggestion to FAM. Why not put up a law saying that anyone who comment negatively about FAM can be suspended from watching football for the rest of their life. Or maybe let the FAM committee play football themselves. This is football MADE IN MALAYSIA - no wonder we are not much better than Nepal.
