Friends Of STAR

The championship will be held on the 21st and 22nd (morning and afternoon) of this month at Sekolah Menengah Sains Muzaffar Shah and Sekolah Menengah Teknik Melaka. Each state will be represented by two schools. STAR, as the Perak champions, will be the state rep along with MCKK who was beaten 35-7 by STAR in the final a few days ago.

The last time STAR won this championship was back in 1981 when STAR beat MCKK 6-0 in Kuala Lumpur.

Make a date in your diary, come and support STAR in their glorious quest to become champions after a long, long 30 years of wilderness. And we must not forget to thank Cikgu Naha (an old boy and a former Malaysian coach) and Cikgu Azhar (current Malaysian senior team player and captain) for making this possible.

STAR IPOH, Kolej Yayasan Saad, English College dan Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah are in the same group. Alam Shah is quite formidable but we have beaten them in a recent friendly while not much is known about English College and KYS. Anyway, the principal of English College is believed to be an old boy - Hamzah Uzer from Batch 74.
