STAR beat MCKK 35-7 in the final to be the Perak champion for third consecutive year. Earlier STAR beat MRSM Lenggong 28-0 in the semi-final. STAR will represent Perak in the inter-state finals to be held in Melaka on the 3rd weekend of this month.

The last time STAR won the National Under 15 championship was in 1981 when STAR beat MCKK 6-0 at the Royal Selangor Club (now is Dataran Merdeka).
