STAR U15 Rugby Tour
The School U15 Team played four friendly matches against Sek Men Sains Selangor, INTEGOMB, SDAR and Alam Shah when they toured Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and NS for two days ending yesterday. They won against both INTEGOMB and Alam Shah, drew with SDAR and lost by a single try to Sek Men Sains Selangor. The team is made up of those from Form 1, Form 2 and Form 3 students.
STAR has shown a very impressive improvement since the arrival of Cikgu Azhar and Cikgu Naha as the school coaches. They could have won the test match against SMS Selangor (notably, the strongest school rugby team in the country) but it was spoiled by rain. And they convincingly trounced Alam Shah (the SBP champions) by quite a score.
Big improvement indeed.
Please note, Cikgu Naha is calling for donations to buy food supplements and vitamins for the school rugby team for the next season.
