STAR beat English College of Johore 17-12 in the final to be crowned as champion in the Perlis U17 rugby tournament held in Arau, Perlis this weekend. A fortnight ago the STAR U17 rugby team played in the Ansara 10's tournament held in Shah Alam but lost to SMS Selangor in the final after beating SDAR 5-0 in the semi-final. The team has shown tremendous progress after managing to enter the final in all competitions participated this year. The next tournament will be at USM Trans Krian, Parit Buntar in the middle of February.
