STAR beat Gunung Rapat Sports School 58-0 in the final to become the Kinta U-17 Rugby School champion last Thursday. The result was expected because the current batch of Form 5 has not lost in any competition in Perak since 2009 when they won the Perak U-15 10's.

This weekend the team will participate in the MCKK Premier 7's Tournament in Kuala Kangsar. All the best rugby playing schools in the country including Vajiravudh College of Bangkok were invited to play in this tournament.
