This weekend STAR is participating in the International Bintang Rugby Club tournament at the Alice Smith International School, Equine Park, Seri Kembangan, Selangor DE. The Form1 boys will taste their first experiance of rugby in the Under-13 category while our Under-15 boys will be playing in the Under-16 category and our Under-17 boys will be playing in the Under-19 category. Basically STAR's participation in this tournament is more on giving the boys exposures playing against the boys above their age and also against the bigger size opponents like the 'mat salleh' and 'pak hitam' players from Singapore, Hong Kong and UAE.

The Under-13 boys Saturday's performance was considered very good winning two out of four games. Beating reputable local rugby schools SMS Ulu Selangor and SMS Selangor but losing to the 'mat salleh' teams from Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Under-15 boys narrowly lost all their three games to the Under-16 teams of Alam Shah, SMS Ulu Selangor and SAKTI Johor.

The Under-17 boys won two games against Bandar Penawar Sports School and Negeri Sembilan Sports School but lost to the 'mat salleh' and 'pak hitam' playing for UAE school.

So far so good and hope the boys will gain more experience in their Sunday's games. Last week at the USM Trans Krian tournament the Under-15 boys boys lost 5-0 to MCKK's Under-17 team in the Plate Semi-Final.
