How To Surf Facebook When It Is Blocked By Your Office Or College
A few months ago staroba.my had published (from a tech site) an article on how to surf certain sites when they were blocked by IT administrator. Maybe it was a bit too technical for some since we received about 3 e-mails asking to enlighten this further. I ain't no fuc@#$% IT expert but I have taught my two college daughters how to surf Facebook when Facebook was blocked by their colleges. Sorry for my lousy English ... I copied and pasted this trick from an old email I sent to my daughters (malas nak nulis malam-malam). This is the easiest way - if you wish me to coach HOW TO UNBLOCK EVERYTHING, you will need a bag of gold dinars to bribe me.

You need to know the IP address of Facebook before you can bypass your college filter. Since the administrator has also disabled the command prompt (which is required to check the IP address) you need to create your own command prompt - and this is how to do it.
- Open your notepad
- Type "command.com"
- Save as cmd.bat
Let's say you want to surf Facebook and the Facebook is blocked. Just open your recently saved cmd.bat and type the following "ping facebook.com".
You will see the IP address of Facebook within the command prompt box - it is 69.63.189.16. Copy the IP number into your browser address and you may now surf Facebook quietly without your professor's knowledge.
